Terms of Service

Val-haul-la LLC · Effective October 2026

These terms apply to every quote, order, and delivery from Val-haul-la LLC, and to your use of valhaulla.com. By requesting a quote or scheduling a delivery, you agree to them.

1. Quotes and Pricing

Quotes are based on the material, the number of loads, the delivery location, and the haul distance you provide. Because fuel is a major part of delivery cost, prices can change if fuel prices change significantly before your delivery date. If the job details change, the price may change too. Payment terms are confirmed with your quote.

2. Load Sizes

A dirt load (topsoil, clean fill, or compactable fill) is approximately 16 to 17 cubic yards. A rock load is up to 21.5 tons. Loads are measured by the truck, and actual amounts can vary slightly with the material and its moisture.

3. Scheduling and Weather

Delivery dates are set with you when you order. Rain, wet ground, and road conditions can force a delivery to be rescheduled for safety. Earlier, later, or weekend delivery may be available if it is arranged in advance.

4. Site Access and Safety

You are responsible for providing a safe entrance to the property and safe access to the dumping location. Because of the weight of a loaded truck, we will not drive over asphalt driveways or walkways, septic systems, underground water piping, or electric lines. The driver will check overhead power and communication lines before raising the bed. The driver has the final say on whether material can be delivered safely to the location you choose.

5. Underground Utilities and Property

Before delivery, you are responsible for knowing and marking the location of septic systems, private water and electric lines, irrigation, and any other buried items in or near the delivery path. Call 811 to have public utilities located before any digging. Please point out anything the truck should avoid when the driver arrives.

6. Failed or Rescheduled Deliveries

If a delivery cannot be made safely for any reason, including site access, overhead lines, or ground that cannot support the truck, a minimum fuel surcharge applies. That surcharge is due by the end of the day the delivery was attempted.

7. Material

Material is delivered as described in your quote. Natural materials vary in color, size, and moisture from load to load. If you have a concern about a load, tell us the same day so we can look into it.
