Our Own Pit
Fill dirt is only as good as what’s in it. Roots, trash, and soft organic material can settle under a slab or a driveway months after the job is closed out, and by then the fix is expensive. Our fill comes from our own pit on private property, so you know where every load came from. It isn’t mixed with spoil hauled off somebody else’s job site.
That material has never failed an inspection on a job we’ve supplied, compaction testing included. When your building pad, footing backfill, or utility trench gets checked, you want fill you don’t have to think twice about.
Owning the source helps your schedule too. When a grading crew or a pour is waiting, the dirt side of your order isn’t stuck in line behind other haulers at someone else’s pit.

The truck dumps at the spot you marked, or spreads gravel with the tailgate if that's what you ordered.
Before the truck arrives: make sure there's a safe way onto the property and a clear spot to dump. A loaded truck is heavy, so we can't drive over asphalt driveways or walkways, septic systems, or buried water and electric lines. The driver also checks for low power and cable lines before raising the bed.
The driver makes the final call on whether a spot is safe. If a delivery can't be made, or has to be rescheduled because wet ground won't hold the truck, a minimum fuel surcharge applies. A quick call about access ahead of time saves you that charge.

Yes. With gate spreading, the driver opens the tailgate a set amount and pulls forward, laying gravel or crusher run in an even strip down your driveway or pad. It saves you hours of shovel and tractor work.
Multiply the length, width, and depth of the area in feet, then divide by 27 to get cubic yards. A 40 by 60 foot pad raised one foot needs about 89 cubic yards, or five to six dirt loads. Fill compacts as it is rolled, so plan on the high side.
Crusher run is crushed stone mixed with stone dust, so it packs down hard and makes a firm base for driveways, pads, and parking areas. Washed gravel like #57 stone has the dust removed, so water drains through it. Many driveways use crusher run underneath and gravel on top.
